Our Board

The Home Care Quality Authority Board consists of nine members appointed by the governor. Each board member serves a term of three years (RCW79.39A.230). The board includes five members who are currently using or have formerly used long-term individual care services:

  • a person with a developmental disability;
  • a representative of the Developmental Disabilities Planning Council;
  • a representative of the Governor's Gommittee on Disability Issues and Employment;
  • a representative of the State Council on Aging; and
  • a representative of the Washington Association of Area Agencies on Aging.
